Now…look at the FOOD below!
Isn’t the spread super lovely? I like all the little stripey nautical details. Favorite things that went into my belly include the samishomemade (you like what I did there?) blue velvet cake in those little jars and the jam the Paola made from scratch! Sam and I also made a quick trip to Sham Shui Po earlier that week to look for some materials to DIY bracelets, so those pretty mounds of string below are not edible. We flipped through and oogled at various issues of Kinfolk, dreaming up events of our own ;)
To top off the lovely afternoon, the sun streamed its glorious rays into her home. My gluttonous and photography/light obsessed sides left blissful.
Thanks for having me Sam!

P.S. For more pretty photos and details of the afternoon head over to Sam’s blog post!
P.P.S. I’m leaving for the weekend to Iloilo and Guimaras in the Phillipines on a mission trip with The Vine. Our team of 10 will be working with street children, outreach programs and church services alongside a ministry established out there by a couple who used to attend our church. I’d be grateful for your prayers for all the people we will meet and for our team!
