A while ago, my neighbor (Kowloon, represent!) Sam invited me, Tania, and Paola over for some high tea with a La Marnière theme. Look at the invitation she designed!

Now…look at the FOOD below! 

Isn’t the spread super lovely? I like all the little stripey nautical details. Favorite things that went into my belly include the samishomemade (you like what I did there?) blue velvet cake in those little jars and the jam the Paola made from scratch! Sam and I also made a quick trip to Sham Shui Po earlier that week to look for some materials to DIY bracelets, so those pretty mounds of string below are not edible. We flipped through and oogled at various issues of Kinfolk, dreaming up events of our own ;)

To top off the lovely afternoon, the sun streamed its glorious rays into her home. My gluttonous and photography/light obsessed sides left blissful.

P.P.S. I’m leaving for the weekend to Iloilo and Guimaras in the Phillipines on a mission trip with The Vine.
